With yet another TUF season coming to an end, look for Nover and Efrain to slug this out, with no second round in sight.

With yet another TUF season coming to an end, we are, yet again, left with two excellent finals match-ups. Phillipe Nover faces off against Efrain Escudero for the lightweight contract, as Ryan Bader takes on Vinicius Magalhaes for the Light Heavyweight contract. With that being said, this was an extremely eventful season. From all the pranks that Kryzsztof pulled, to the rage-a-holic Junie, combined with the great fights, this was one of the most enjoyable seasons yet.

Nover vs. Escudero – Let me just say, Phillipe Nover is an absolute animal in the cage. I have never seen someone with that kind of intensity in the cage, ever. This guy truly turns into a predator in the cage, and wants to inflict serious injury into his opponent. His stand-up is flawless. He has extremely quick hands that strike with great precision to allow for extremely powerful, accurate punches, which as of yet, have not allowed any of his opponents to see round 2. Escudero on the other hand is not a bad fighter by any means, he has a lot of heart and that takes fighters a long way in the UFC. However, Nover is just too quick, aggressive and just has too good of a stand-up game to allow Escudero to walk out of this fight with the contract and the win. Look for this one to end early.

Winner: Nover by Knock-Out

Ryan Bader (black trunks) vs. Brad Peterson

Bader vs. Vinny – Another very interesting fight here. Bader was a collegiate wrestling champion that is absolutely huge and has great power. When he gets his opponent to the ground, he can absolutely destroy them, as he did in one of his preliminary fights. However, he claims to have great stand-up power, but we have, as of yet, seen this amazing stand-up game. Unfortunately for Bader, he is squaring off against Vinny. As a world champion, and as he has demonstrated in all of his fights, Vinny’s Jiu-Jitsu is bar none, except to maybe Big Nog. He is just mediocre on his feet, but when that fight hits the ground, he takes about 30 seconds or less to bring his opponent to a precarious position and subsequently make him tap. Bader may be a collegiate wrestler, but Vinny’s ground game just cannot be topped. Unless Bader pulls out a huge punch on his feet, look for Vinny to end this extremely early.

Winner: Vinny by Arm-Bar
